Perak Housewife wins Sports Toto Jackpot worth RM20.75 million

Winning the lottery has always been one of the biggest daydreams for everyone. Come on, admit that ‘money falling from the sky’ is something we all have thought about! Though it sounds too good to be true, a 50-year-old housewife who is residing in Perak had her dreams come true when she struck big after winning the Toto 4D Jackpot 1 worth RM20.75 million on 14th December 2022.

Housewife credits the lottery win to a local deity who ‘gave’ her the Sports Toto winning numbers

When collecting her winnings at the STM Lottery Sdn Bhd head office in Kuala Lumpur, the lucky punter credits the win to a local deity known as Datuk Kong. According to New Straits Times, she revealed that she “received” the Sports Toto Jackpot winning numbers 9506 and 1406 from the deity.

“As a faithful believer, I always offer my prayer to Datuk Kong at His shrine whenever I go back to my home town. Sometimes, I would pray for fortune and I am so blessed that Datuk Kong has granted me a pair of winning numbers,” she said.

Additionally, she mentioned that she will return to the shrine and properly thank the deity.

The lucky punter bought a System 4 ticket

The System 4 ticket won the lucky housewife a whopping RM20,752,714.20 and RM672 as the System Play bonus. When she saw the winning numbers pop up on the Sports Toto result board, she was so excited that she had a sleepless night.

On how she plans to use her newfound wealth, the lucky winner mentioned that she plans to use the toto winnings to first pay off her family’s debts. After that, she will only decide on how to spend the lottery winnings.
