According to Malaysian chef Anis Nabilah on her Instagram, she shared that after a long day at work, she decided to head for supper at a nearby mamak. Upon arriving at the mamak, Anis spotted a man who was done with his meal and is waiting for his ride. Despite waiting for over 10 minutes, the man’s ride has yet to show up, but there were cars passing by him a rather fast speed.

“I know he is visually impaired, and I was getting worried that he might get hurt as he was waiting at the side”, she said.

After she was done with her meal, she was shocked to find out that the man was still waiting for a ride. Approaching him, the man told the chef that he has been waiting for a period of time but unfortunately his ride has not arrived. Seeing that it was close to 1am, Anis decided to offer him a ride home.

Good things happen to people who work hard

Engaging in conversation with him, Anis found out that the soft-spoken man is actually a SPM tutor. Only having 2 students this year, Prakesh is looking to take in a few more students so he could make a livelihood out of it.

“I suggested to him that he could try making content on social media, but unfortunately it’s too expensive”, she mentioned.
