Among some of the most memorable and major milestones in a person’s life is the moment when one can afford to make a purchase for a brand-new home to call their own with their own hard-earned money.
At the tender age of just 19, Malaysian YouTube digital creator Bryson Lew has managed to achieve that exact feat and has purchased a sprawling home worth RM1.6 million to show his gratitude to his family for their continued support in his career.

In a lengthy YouTube video that was recently uploaded to his channel, he documents how him and his family had been living together under the same roof but explains that they eventually came to a decision to move due to a lack of space in their home.
Bryson admits that the house has turned into a makeshift studio space for most of his videos and given his work in content creation, much of the space in their living area has also been occupied by his filming equipment. His older sisters have also followed suit and began keeping some of their own belongings in the living area as well, when their rooms lacked capacity.
Similarly in the case of his parents, both of whom are avid gardeners, have filled their car porch with plants of all sizes and reduced its capacity from fitting two vehicles into just one.
Given that fact, he decided to pursue his dream of buying his family a larger home, one with a compound where his parents could enjoy their gardening hobby and where space would no longer be an issue for all of them.
Touching on his roots from his early days of making videos, Bryson said that his family have always remained by his side and were always willing to not only encourage, but also participate in all of his ventures without hesitation.
Whether it be filming music videos or skits, they toiled with him from dawn to dusk without a single word of complaint, to turn his ideas into reality.
“We recorded a lot of videos in our old house, we created a lot of memories in it.
But now it’s time to move on.”
Wanted to express his gratitude to his family for their support
Of course, he admits that taking on such a huge commitment at 19-years-old came with a considerable amount of pressure, considering his mortgage as well as the cost of the renovations that the home would require.
But in hindsight, Bryson said that he wanted to make sure that he could express how appreciative he was to his family for their contributions, sacrifices, and support for his work in creating YouTube videos.
“I may be just 19 now, but both of you [his parents] will be turning 60. And grandmum will be turning 90.
Which is why I felt that practising companionship and gratitude is the most important thing for me to do at this stage.”
The clip ends with Bryson’s family excitedly planning on the home’s future renovations.
Viewed over 569,000 times as of writing, Bryson’s video has won praise from many netizens for his filial piety towards his parents, as well as the love he has for his family.
