“Drive or take the MRT?”, The Exchange TRX is finally open & here’s how to get there!

The wait is finally over! The Exchange TRX has finally opened its doors for shoppers and with over 500 brands coming together in over 95 floors, it’s definitely a mall not to be missed! Now if you’re wondering how you’re going to commute there, don’t sweat it as we’ve got you covered!

The Exchange TRX is finally open & here’s how to get there!

For starters, if you’re planning to drive over, all you need to do is waze The Exchange TRX and depending on the route, you’ll be able to get there in a breeze. With multiple entry points from various key intercity arteries, the mall is accessible from from Jalan Tun Razak, directly via the SMART Tunnel or straight from MEX and SPE from the elevated roadway.

Jalan Tun Razak

If you’re heading to the mall from Jalan Tun Razak, do note that either direction is directly accessible. If you’re heading over from the Bulatan Kampung Pandan direction, you should keep left and take the slip road that leads straight to the TRX Tunnel. If you’re coming over from the Mont Kiara/Damansara direction, do keep in mind to keep left, before entering the slip road on your right and look out for the ‘TRX’ tunnel entrance.

SMART Tunnel

Now if SMART Tunnel is your way of heading to the mall, all you need to do is take the exit marked ‘TRX’. This will lead you straight to the TRX Tunnel and from the TRX Tunnel you can enter via any of the 4 exits to get to The Exchange TRX! Talk about convenience!

Parking rates

Ample parking spaces are provided in the mall and for those who are wondering about the parking rates, weekday rates are priced at RM5 for the first hour, and RM4 for the consecutive hours. Maximum parking rate for the day would be RM30.

For weekends, the parking rates are priced at RM3 for the first hour, followed by RM3 for the consecutive hours. Maximum parking rate for weekends are also capped at RM30. However, it’s worth noting that there’s a flat rate fee of RM10 for those who enter the mall from 5pm to 5am and rates are applicable for weekdays and weekends.

Premium parking is also available in the mall, and it’s located at Concourse Floor. The Premium Carpark is accessible from Persiaran TRX, just past the Luxury Drop-off. Customers who park here can enjoy direct access to The Exchange TRX from Premium Parking. As for the rates, the first hour is priced at RM15 with RM4 for subsequent hours. Maximum rate for the day is capped at RM50 and the rates mentioned above are applicable during public holidays.

A flat rate fee of RM25 is also available for those who enter the mall within 5pm to 5am!

Taking the MRT

For those who want to beat the jam, commuting to The Exchange TRX will be rather easy as the mall is located at a very accessible area. Regardless of the train line you’re in, all you have to do is get off at the Tun Razak Exchange station and exit through the pedestrian link to get straight through to The Exchange TRX on Concourse level.

So, if you’re worried about the logistics, don’t worry as the mall is quite accessible, regardless of if you’re driving or taking the MRT. Have fun shopping and see you there!
