“It was late at night and a couple came to our stall, wanting to buy satay for their 6 children”, they said, adding that they seemed distressed with their financial situation.

Upon finding out that the price for a stick of satay was priced at RM1, the couple then sadly walked away without buying anything. Tugging on their heartstrings, the pair then decided to lower the price of their satay to RM0.50, in hopes that those who are struggling can also afford to have satay.

Not long after, the couple came by the stall again and they were shocked to find out that the prices of the satay have been lowered. Seeing the couple being able to buy their food back for their children, Nordin and Halimatol couldn’t help but feel a sense of satisfaction.

And to no surprise, with their generosity, the couple now sells an average of 400 to 600 sticks of satay daily. Showing appreciation for their kindness, they’ve also been receiving plenty of support from returning customers, calling them beforehand to reserve satays! With the help of their 3 children, the couple is able to cope with the orders coming in without having to overwork!

For those who are interested in supporting their venture, their stall is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 6pm onwards. Depending on the sales, the pair would occasionally close early if their satay sells out.

“Usually, we would close at 8:30pm, but if we sell out early, we’ll close early”, they mentioned.

What a kind and generous couple! All the best in your venture!
