Healthcare workers truly deserve more recognition from society as their job requires a lot of attention to detail especially when treating patients. Just 2 days ago, a man by the name Chun Guan has shared a post onto his Facebook, expressing his sympathy regarding a nurse he saw at a government hospital.

In his post, Chun Guan has revealed that he was at the hospital localted in Kuala Lumpur to collect his medical letter. As he was waiting, he stumbled upon a nurse who was working at the counter. He noticed that something was attached on her hand and after taking a closer look, he realised that there was an IV drip inserted in her hand.

He then approached the nurse and asked her,

“Hey miss, why are you on drip?”

The nurse then replied him saying that she is feeling unwell, giving him a shy smile. He probed further and asked her why she didn’t take a day off to recuperate to which she answered him saying that they’re short staffed.

After a brief banter with the nurse, he found out that the nurse’s hometown is at Terengganu. Unfortunately, due to her work schedule and lack of manpower, she had to stay back and is only able to return to her hometown for Raya next year. Subsequently, he asked for the nurse’s permission to take a picture of her without her face and she agreed. Sharing it onto his own socials, Chun Guan expressed how sorry he felt for the nurse and that he was very grateful for her dedication.
