The caption reveals that his friend had been commuting to work via public transport over the last two years.
Determined to lighten his load, Ilmam and his friends sought to buy him a car. In the video, the unsuspecting friend is seen being led towards his surprise as they cover his eyes.
Finally, Ilmam and his friend let go of their hands, revealing a brand new Honda waiting for him. As he checks out his ride, they excitedly hype him up and cheer him on. The friend appears to be lost for words, as he looks around at his companions, full of gratefulness.
A friendship worth treasuring
Ilmam’s TikTok video quickly went viral, garnering thousands of views and comments. Netizens were blown away by their act of kindness and the strong bond that they shared.
