As the horrific incident makes its wave through social media, local authorties were alerted of the issue and the 61-year-old man was reprimanded. According to local newspaper Sin Chew Daily, the 61-year-old man is currently being probed for animal abuse.
Following that, many netizens were quick to do some digging to find out who the heartless culprit is, and it appears that the man who dragged the dog is allegedly the father of Samous, the roast pork seller who went viral for his dance covers online. With the negative news spreading like wildfire, Samous had no choice but to respond to the allegations.
When asked about the current situation, Samous answered saying that the matter is currently being dealt with and he is unable to comment further on the incident. Despite the negativity that’s floating around, Samous remains positive and the family’s business is still up and running. However, plenty of netizens were quick to leave negative reviews on its page, probing others to boycott their business.
The Chinese mail had also gotten in touch with Samous’ mother regarding their business, to which she responded saying that business is remains running and refused to comment about any other matters.
