After operating for over 2 decades, Rotiboy Malaysia has shared a bittersweet news to all Malaysians, informing that their KLCC outlet will be closing their doors permanently.
Rotiboy M’sia announces permanent closure of KLCC outlet after 21 years
Looking at their announcement on Facebook, Rotiboy shared their gratitude towards Malaysians, for showing them their unwavering support for the past 21 years. In their post they wrote,
“Thank you for letting us be a part of your growth from childhood to teenage years and adulthood.”
On top of that, they also gave a heartfelt shoutout to their team members who were working at their outlet, making sure that fresh buns were produced for their customers daily.
“Thank you for your contributions, dedication and sacrifices as part of Rotiboy’s frontline team for the past 21 years in Rotiboy KLCC outlet. The time has come for you to make a difference at other locations”, it wrote.
21 years is not a short amount of time and to further commemorate the end of an era, the team has then urged the public to share their fondest memories made at their outlets as a parting gift.
To no surprise, as the news of their closure broke out, many netizens have commented their favourite memories with the outlet and here’s what some of them said:
“Thank you for being part of my childhood memories. Every time I head over to KLCC, the aroma of Rotiboy would serve as a sign that I’ve arrived in KLCC.”
Rotiboy KLCC outlet will officially cease its operations on September 8,2024. So, if you’re looking to grab a freshly baked bun with amazing aroma, for old times’ sake, remember to visit them!
