M’sian woman treats old man to Nasi Kandar after seeing him eat plain rice with chicken liver

Nasi Kandar is a popular Malaysian dish that originated from Penang. It is known for its flavorful and aromatic rice served with a variety of curries and side dishes. In a recent display of kindness and generosity, a woman has decided to treat an old man for a meal.

Buying food at Nasi Kandar Sulaiman, a woman stumbled upon an old man who was about to dine in at the eatery. Noticing him, the woman went up to the counter and told the staff that she would pay for his meal. Observing the old man, he then headed to the counter asking for a plate of rice and some chicken liver.

Asking if he wanted anything else, he said,

“I can’t afford other dishes.”

The woman then reassured the old man, asking him to order anything he’d like to eat as she will take care of his bill. The old man then ordered an iced drink and added on a slice fish, before sitting down, enjoying his meal. Looking at the old man, it was apparent that he was quite happy with his encounter.

“He’s happy not because he has fish to eat, but because he realised that someone cares for him”, wrote the stall.

Penning their two cents on the issue, they believe that there are many elderlies out there dining alone, with not much to spare. Urging the public to help out if they can, just a simple gesture can really brighten up their day.

“Even if you can’t afford, all you have to do is talk to them politely, and that’s enough. For if not us, who else could care for them?”, they added.

We’re so happy to see the woman buying the old man a meal. We hope he will always be safe and healthy. What are your thoughts? Let us know.
