A photographer widely recognized for her art and talent, Acacia Diana has made a name for herself in the local photography scene. But one fateful fan encounter years ago has turned her life into a nightmare.

In a series of posts on her Twitter and Instagram social media, the celebrity photographer comes forward with her disturbing tale. For years, Acacia has been persistently stalked by a man known as Mohamad Safiq bin Rosli.

According to Acacia, he initially contacted her in 2016 through Instagram and email under the aliases @  sopert99 and sopert@ terminal, respectively. She told him not to contact her again, but the man did not relent.

The stalker continued to pursue Acacia, going so far as to approach her in person. This has happened more than once, even to the point of time when she was studying in the UK. To her shock, Safiq had showed up to her family home back in Malaysia, which meant he knew where she lived.

His antics came to a pause when he followed Acacia to the UK and was arrested by the authorities there. Yet this was short lived, as Safiq defied his court order and fled the country.

Returning to his previous ways, the stalker continued to torment Acacia with an unending wave of explicit messages, creating over 36 multiple accounts in the process.

To this day, Acacia remains traumatized and fearful for her own safety. “I was terrified. I deactivated my social accounts for a while,” she wrote. The man’s unwavering attempts have now driven Acacia to speak up for herself. “My following, engagement, work was greatly affected but I could not face it anymore.”

Hoping to end this violation once and for all, Acacia addresses the PDRM through her social media. She wishes that coming forward will lead to serious action being taken and put a stop to the harassment.

No one should have to go through such mental and emotional torture, and we certainly hope Acacia gets the justice she deserves!
