Participating in a marathon could be a bucket list for many. However, it’s worth noting that some form of training is required prior to entering a marathon as your endurance and stamina would be tested.

Just recently, many Malaysians have taken part in a marathon hosted by Standard Chartered. Not long ago, a Malaysian father was praised for participating in the run with his differently abled daughter, this time round, another Malaysian has made headlines for attending the event with his furry feline companion.

According to a TikTok video posted by Azhan, he revealed that he has taken part in a marathon held by Standard Chartered. As he filmed the count down for the marathon, he panned the camera to himself, and a furry feline has successfully caught the attention of many.

Strapped onto his back is his furry pet, Jibek a Maine Coon mixed breed. Throughout the run, the adorable cat was seen resting on top of his shoulders. Speaking to Wau Post Azhan shared that back in 2017, he has decided to go hiking trips with his furry companion.

“I think it’s a great way to bond with it”, he said.

Following that, Azhan shared that he’s currently taking a break from hiking. As he enjoys his hiatus from hiking, he discovered a newfound hobby, which is to participate marathons. And ever since his newfound hobby, his cat has also joined his journey.
