M’sian influencer celebrates domestic helper’s birthday by treating her to a spa day!

Domestic helpers are usually hired to help out with various household chores which includes, cooking, cleaning, laundry and even childcare. While domestic workers are hired to assist us in our daily lives, it’s important to note that they’re also human beings and deserve the same respect regardless of their jobs.

M’sian influencer celebrates domestic helper’s birthday by treating her to a spa day!

Just recently, a Malaysian influencer named Elecher has posted on social media, sharing that it’s her second year celebrating her domestic helper’s birthday. In the video, she was seen passing an outfit to her helper, asking for her to change out of her home clothes. As her helper had the dress on, she couldn’t help but smile at the dress.

“I’ve never worn a long dress before”, said her helper.

“Thank you, God, for a wonderful family.”

As they were heading out to the salon to get a hair wash, she kept praising God and saying thank you for giving her a family that appreciates her. As she was getting her hair washed, it’s apparent that she was enjoying it and that’s when she revealed that she has never step foot into a hair salon. She said that of her 38 years of living, she has never step foot into a salon and couldn’t contain her smile.

Following that, she helped her helper put on some make up then sending her to get her nails done. As her helper realised that she was getting a manicure and pedicure, she couldn’t contain her happiness and hugged Elecher tightly. Touched by her helper’s heartwarming gesture, Elecher couldn’t help but break into tears, knowing that she’s never been able to enjoy these luxuries prior to working for her.

As the nail technician was getting her nails done, she was seen tearing up silently. She was then served a bird’s nest drink, before heading over to get her lash extensions. After an extensive makeover, she was brought to a massage parlour, where she enjoyed a relaxing massage. To end her birthday celebration, they brought her to a restaurant that serves wagyu beef for dinner, ending it with a simple birthday song and cake.
