For those of us working the daily grind, there would be no doubt that we have all at one point, fantasied as to what it would be like if we woke up one day to find that we have suddenly struck a massive windfall from the lottery. And that most certainly turned out to be a case for one lucky punter, who recently took home a massive payout of RM16.3 milion after striking the Magnum 4D Jackpot recently. As reported by local newspaper Malay Mail, the 54-year-old woman claims that she decided to buy a System Bet-8 ticket from the company after seeing two four digit numbers — 3887 and 5785, appear repeatedly in her dreams.
“I usually buy the Magnum 4D Classic game but as the Magnum 4D Jackpot amount was the highest at the moment, I decided to try my luck with that game instead,” she said in a statement from the company, following her win.
What’s more, she claims that while heading to visit her relatives to Banting, she saw a number of vehicles bearing the registration number 3887. Upon stopping to buy fruits for them, she coincidentally noticed a Magnum 4D outlet and made the decision to buy a ticket.
“My instincts told me to go in, and I decided to purchase the System Bet-8, giving eight sets of numbers to increase my chances.
“I’m so glad that I followed my instincts. This is really a dream come true for me,” she adds.
A new home and a family vacation
The heart-racing moment of checking the results on the Magnum website turned into unbridled joy when it was revealed that she had struck gold with both numbers.
“Just for assurance, I got my son to check the ticket by scanning it using the MyMagnum 4D app,”
With her bounty, the woman says she now plans to buy her family their dream home after having rented one for years. She also hopes to plan a long overdue vacation with her family, as being a shop owner, she says she hasn’t taken any trips for years. A portion of her winnings will also be donated to charity.
