One of the best things about Malaysians would definitely be the kindness and compassion we have towards everyone around us. Just recently, a man named Michael has shared a heartwarming incident while having dinner with his family.
Kind M’sian man buys dinners for old lady who approached him for money
According to his post, Michael shared that he was out at a mall located in Penang with his family. While they were having their dinner, an old lady approached him and asked if he could spare her some change. Without any hesitation, he decided to offer her some money and briefly spoke to her.
“Have you eaten, aunty?”, asked Michael.

To which the old lady replied saying that she hasn’t eaten anything. Feeling distraught that nobody was willing to help the old aunty, Michael decided to take matters onto his own hands and help her out. He headed over to the counter to buy a packet of rice for the aunty and the staff that was manning the counter is named Ridzuan.
When he was about to pay for the meal, Ridzuan then stopped him and said that he would pay for the old lady instead. Albeit feeling touched, Michael insisted on paying but the kindhearted staff refused to take his money, saying that he is willing to give the aunty food for free. Speaking to Wau Post, Michael expressed that he felt very grateful and happy to see that there are still kindhearted people out there.

When he passed the food to the old aunty, she thanked him profusely, complimenting on how kind he is, to which he replied her saying that he is happy to be able to help her. Following the incident, Michael who is a rising creator urged the public to always lend a helping hand to those who are in need.
“If you can help, you should because you might be the only one that does”, he said.
