Nasi Lemak is a traditional dish is Malaysia. For those who are unfamiliar, the dish is served with coconut milk infused rice, sambal, peanuts, a choice of protein, eggs, as well as anchovies and peanuts. Just 2 days ago, an employee from Mug Mug Seri Kembangan named Shaheera shared that she has received an unusual request from an order.
M’sian requests shop to add spoons of Milo powder onto his Nasi Lemak
In the video, Shaheera mentioned that she received an order for a Nasi Lemak takeaway, and in the notes section, she received a request asking for her to add on spoons of Milo powder! In the notes, it wrote,
“Today is my birthday but I’m sad because nobody remembered my birthday. I really love Milo powder, could you please add a lot into it? But make sure your boss doesn’t see this, so you wouldn’t lose your job. I’ll be waiting.”
Reading the request, she couldn’t help but find it hilarious. Speaking to Wau Post, Shaheera shared that she’s been operating her stall for over 2 years, and this is the first time where she encountered such an unusual request.
“I never encountered such request, which is why I decided to post this”, she mentioned.
“Is this right?”
While she was more than happy to oblige to the request given, Shaheera hesitated for a bit as the customer also placed an order for a Milo drink.
“I’m not sure if I’m getting this right, but the customer left his request at the Nasi Lemak notes section”, she said.
Not wanting to delay the order, she started packing the customer’s order, filling the Nasi Lemak with Milo powder, before packing it nicely and sending it off.
As the video goes viral online, many netizens have left their comments and here’s what some of them said:
“She wasn’t wrong though; the customer was really happy to receive Nasi Lemak Milo!”
“The next time I order Nasi Lemak, I’m going to ask for a significant other. They did mention that service is their first priority. I’m sure they’re able to find one for me. I don’t care, it’s my birthday.”
