Caretaker Prime Minister Ismail Sabri has now claimed that the Barisan Nasional Supreme Council decided not to support either the Pakatan Harapan (PH) or Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalitions. Instead, they will remain as the Opposition party in government, regardless of whatever the outcome may prove to become later today. As of right now, both coalitions are expected to declare their Parliamentary seat numbers and their Prime Minister candidates to His Majesty KDYMM Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong.

Earlier, it was suggested by Selangor BN communication chief Datuk Seri Jamal Md Yunos that a coalition government between PH and BN may be possible.

This is a developing story with more to come.
