A medical doctor is a professional who is trained to diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and medical conditions. Just a day ago, a Malaysian, Dr. Sathia has shared his experience while flying over to India.
M’sian doctor provides medical assistance towards 80yo lady who fainted
Taking his experience to his Facebook, Dr. Sathia Prakash Nadarajan shared that while he was enroute to Chennai, India. while he was on board, an emergency incident had happened whereby an 80-year-old woman had fainted.
Seeing that a doctor was in need, Dr. Sathia immediately rushed over to the woman’s seat and performed a simple examination on her. Fortunately, Dr. Sathia always had the habit of bringing his stethoscope everywhere he went.

“It was very useful at the time”, he said, emphasising that his habit of carrying a stethoscope around is beneficial, especially during times of emergency.
He then urged for all airlines to always have a medical kit inclusive of BP sets, stethoscopes, pulse oximeters and basic emergency medication on board.
Ending his post, Dr. Sathia conveyed his well wishes to the 80-year-old woman he helped.
