M’sian student turned his life around by selling clothes online

Just recently, 22-year-old student, Muhammad Amin Syarifuddin Aziz has started a clothing business back in August 2022 as he saw a potential gap in the market. Prior to this, Amin shared that he dropped out from school years ago and subsequently started a business selling corn juice.

“At that time, I was only earning about RM1,000 a day selling corn juice”, he said.

After that, he decided to resume his studies and is now studying at Poly-Tech Mara College (KPTM) in Bangi, Selangor and that’s when he decided to sell clothes. He revealed that one of his main drives for starting his own business is because he didn’t want to burden his parents.

“I didn’t want to put pressure on them”, he mentioned.

Not all rainbows and sunshine

Amin revealed that during the first month of his business, he only managed to sell 300 pieces of clothing, but with the help of his friend, he was able to turn things around and earn a whopping RM100,00 in two weeks! While he was happy with his achievements, he also highlighted the importance of having knowledge when conducting a business.

“The younger generation should always keep in mind that studying should not be a barrier or an excuse to earn an income”, he said.

Other than that, Amin also shared that the knowledge garnered can be particularly useful as it can help prevent being deceived by people.

Congratulations and what an impressive achievement! All the best in your future endeavours!
