Where the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) are concerned, no other tertiary institution comes close to the repute that the Massachusetts Institute of Technology has. Known as being the alma mater for some of the most renowned technocrats and industrialists, it is also well-remembered for being an incredibly difficult university to gain admission into, with only a 3.96% of admission rate this year.
