Earn money and create memories

“I work in a tomato farm under a glass house. Weather isn’t really a concern because we’re sheltered”, she said.

She added that her responsibility as a tomato picker would include, picking the tomatoes, trimming the leaves, cleaning and other menial tasks that they’re assigned to. One of the pros she mentioned about working in that environment is the ability to walk around throughout their working hours.

“As compared to factory workers who just sit or stand for the whole 9 hours, this is better as you get to move around”, she mentioned.

When asked if her employers provide accommodation, she mentioned that they don’t. However, there are some employers who might provide accommodation if they’re located in the rural areas. Other than that, when applying for the visa, you’re allowed to choose the industry you’d like to pursue, making it the best time to experience a new industry if you’re tired of the field you’re working in.
