One common scene in Malaysia are definitely pigeons! And for many who are unfamiliar, pigeons were actually domesticated thousands of years ago, mainly for communication purposes, displaying high levels of awareness. Just recently, an uncle hailing from Penang has wowed netizens with his amazing bird whispering skills!

According to a video posted by Syafiq, he encountered an uncle feeding the pigeons at the park. Amused by the uncle’s actions, he stopped in his car with his family to observe. Engaging in light banter with the uncle, Syafiq found out that the uncle actually has an amazing skill!

Watching the video, the uncle was seen telling Syafiq and his family,
“Let me gather all of them over, just watch.”
He then began blowing his whistle, gathering the pigeons around the area. To Syafiq’s surprise, the pigeons actually flew over to where the uncle was, gathering round him. The uncle then spoke to the birds in Bahasa Malaysia asking for them to follow him, asking one of it to perch lightly onto his arm.

The uncle then continued with his little performance, asking for more pigeons to perch on his cap and his other arm. To no surprise, the pigeons oblige and it’s apparent that the pigeons have actually developed trust and a bond with the uncle. Watching the uncle work his way around the birds, Syafiq and his family were truly impressed with his skills, clapping for him.
Posting the video onto his TikTok, Syafiq received tons of comments praising the uncle for his skills, and here’s what some of them said:
