iPhone 13 is all the hype right now and if you are one of Apple’s fans, you don’t want to miss out on this new and improved Apple product.
iPhone 13 will be available in Malaysia starting 8th October 2021
That’s right, in just a few more days, you can start purchasing iPhone 13 in Malaysia. The 6.1inch iPhone 13 Pro will be sold starting from RM4,899 (for the 128GB version). On the other hand, the larger 6.7inch iPhone 13 Pro Max will be available starting from RM5,299 with similar storage.
The biggest difference you would get from the Pro models is the 120Hz ProMotion display. The GPU gets 5-core which is more than the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini. But not as obvious as the display.
Better cameras than ever before
Camera-wise is where the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max really stand out over the ones before it. It’s still the same triple 12MP camera setup at the back, but there’s a new 1.9µm sensor (which is the biggest one seen on an iPhone yet). It’s paired with an f/1.5 lens and Apple claims up to 2.2x better shots in low light compared to the iPhone 12 Pro. And of course, there’s also Apple’s sensor-shift optical image stabilization at work.
The main camera is an upgraded ultrawide camera with an even wider f/1.8 lens and a new autofocus system. Allowing macro photography as close as 2cm with the ultrawide lens. Meanwhile, the new 77mm telephoto camera offers 3x optical zoom. Apple has also added night mode capability to all three camera.
Made for better videography
Videography on the iPhone 13 Pro gets a huge improvement too thanks to the new cinematic mode for rack focus shots. Furthermore, the ProRes video recording is capable of up to 4K at 30fps.
The best part is, the 12MP front camera will also be able to use these features. The iPhone 13 Pro comes with a 6.1-inch, 2,532 x 1,170 pixel resolution Super Retina XDR OLED display, while the iPhone 13 Pro Max bumps that up to a 6.7-inch, 2,778 x 1,284 pixel resolution screen.
The star feature here is the ProMotion 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. You also get 1000nits of brightness compared to the 800nits on the iPhone 12 Pro, and that goes up to 1200nits during peak HDR mode. There’s True Tone, Haptic Touch, HDR and Dolby Vision too.
