After a long day of work, it’s understandable that one would like to just push their stresses and troubles away by heading home and unwind. Unfortunately for this woman, it seems like her plans to unwind was interrupted by a man who molested her while she was on the way home.

CCTV footage shows a woman getting assaulted while walking home in PJ

In a terrifying CCTV footage shared to Wau Post, it was shown that a woman dressed in formal attire was walking home. She was seen holding an umbrella while carrying her laptop bag and walking towards her house. Out of nowhere, she was followed by a man who was wearing a black jacket and denim pants.

As she was reaching her house, the man quickly got close to her and ambushed her by grabbing her from the back. The woman, tried to escape from the man’s grip but to her dismay she was unable to do much. Taken aback by his ambush, she let out multiple screams, signaling that she is in danger. As the assailant heard her screams, he quickly ran away through the alley and disappeared after.

The woman quickly recollected herself and headed back to her home swiftly. Following that, a message was forwarded around groups, notifying the locals to be wary of their surroundings as the victim was ambushed at her residential area. The incident was said to have happened at SS2/20 at 7:08pm last Friday (April 28) and the assailant was last seen running towards the road at SS2/18.

Local newspaper China Press has reported that the local authorities have been informed of the matter and investigations will be ongoing soon.
