Delivery riders definitely play a crucial role when it comes down to modern day convenience, especially during the peak of the Covid-19 lockdowns. That being said, it is our duty to make sure that our personal details, especially our address is written correctly.

Unfortunately for this delivery rider, it seems like his job was made all the more difficult and unpleasant when a customer left a particularly nasty note on their address slip.

This comes after picture of a parcel that surfaced online has gone viral, addressed to a local woman. On the address slip, she appears to have left a rather hostile message ostensibly for whichever rider or postman was delivering her parcel, apparently annoyed that others that came before them have gotten lost.

“Look at the map carefully and place the parcel at the right house. If you’re stupid and can’t look at the map, then you shouldn’t be a rider.”

She then described the exact location of her home in detail, explaining that it can be found right in front of a lemongrass tree along a street in a Johor village. Despite that, one would notice that she failed to provide her phone number on the parcel for contact purposes, should the rider need it.

Needless to say, online netizens were equal parts amused and taken aback by her rudeness. In fact, local newspaper China Press said that some people even managed to pinpoint the rough location of her home on Google Maps, before geotagging it under her name, followed by the word ‘bodoh‘ [stupid].

Others left a series of comments expressing their incredulity at how the woman lacked any semblance of politeness.

“Does she think she is some influencer or famous actress/singer, expecting people to know where she lives?”
