Halloween is the biggest unofficial celebration in Malaysia. From playing dress-up to sharing scary stories, here are the best places to amp up your Halloween celebrations even more.

The name Nights of Fright is no stranger to anyone. Now in its 9th year of running, you can expect all sorts of scares that are bound to get you screaming for more.

With 8 haunted houses and spooky attractions, you’ll never know what might just be creeping around the corner. Not just that, Nights of Fright is known for squad of costumed characters! Snap pictures with The Nun, Dracula and more fan favorites, and enjoy stage shows throughout the night.

Fancy a Halloween spectacular? Get this and more at the Malaysian Halloween Festival that’s set to go down on the 14th to 15th of October 2023.

Spend a day at this Halloween carnival that’s packed with fun-filled activities for you to enjoy. Their main events are the Halloween Chase, which consists of either a 3km walking chase or a 8km run. This is where you get to dress up in your best Halloween costume and run (or walk) for your life!

Aside from their primary highlights, there are a variety of interesting competitions you can join. Take part in the batik design contest, fashion show, or visit their haunted house!

Are you ready to pawty? This Halloween party is unlike any other, because you get to ring in the celebration with your furry friends too! Drop by the Howl-o-ween bazaar where an abundance of excitement awaits!

Among their vendor lineup, you can discover all kinds of food and beverages, crafts, and pet accessories. Little ones will also have something to look forward to, as there is a kid bazaar happening at the same time.

In addition, there are exclusive prizes up for grabs for both humans, and their pets! Simply dress up yourself (or your pet) in your spooky best, and stand a chance to win. You can also opt for face and hand painting services that are only available on October 14th.

Brace yourselves for this haunted house inspired by the acclaimed works of Junji Ito! Here, the famous Japanese horror manga artist breathes life into his creations.

Junji Ito Horror House features scenes from his iconic Netflix series. These are Junji Ito Maniac: Japanese Tales Of The Macabre and Uzumaki: Spiral Into Horror.

Besides, step into the behind-the-scenes of his scriptwriting and genius mind. Prepare to transport yourselves to another world as you wander through an unparalleled horror exhibition.

If you can’t get enough of Halloween marketplaces, you’re in luck. KEDAI KL is hosting a huge Halloween bash this 21st to 22nd of October, and you’re invited!

Here is where you can fill your pumpkin with an assortment of treats! From edible delights to quirky trinkets, make your Halloween more festive by bringing your friends and family along.

Here’s something a little unconventional! For those of you seeking an adrenaline rush, Sunway Putra is hosting a Halloween Fun Run this 28th of October!

Join in the Fun Run and you can walk away with a finisher medal and Halloween event T-shirt. They’ve also got a haunted station, Zumba, food trucks, carnival games and loads more!
