Penang takes 2nd spot in best travel destination list for solo travelers!
Taking account into factors like internet connection/stability, easiness of communication, as well as accessible transportation, the first country that tops the list is Malaysia’s neighbouring country, Singapore. Being an island that’s well-developed, Singapore offers a perfect blend of urban life and nature sites.

On top of that, traveling around Singapore is fairly easy as public transport is available everywhere and many sites are walkable. Taking the second spot on the list is Malaysia’s very own island, Penang. Separated into two parts, travelers can expect a mix between cultural sites and modern arts.
With hipster cafes intertwined with their heritage buildings and humble appeal, vendors are more likely to cater to solo travelers. Other than that, Penang is home to many popular and tasty dishes like Penang Laksa, Char Kuey Teow and Lo Bak (five spiced minced meat), you’re bound to find a dish that perfectly accommodates your taste buds.
