M’sian’s car hangs halfway out from 2nd floor after he allegedly confused gas with brake pedal & crashed into wall

One of the most terrifying things to experience when getting behind the wheel of a car is incidents of human error, such as switching into the wrong gear or mistaking your gas pedal for the brakes.

While these can be honest mistakes, they can also potentially lead to very deadly situations on the road and put one’s life at risk or worse.

Malaysian man allegedly mistakes gas for brake pedal, crashes onto brick wall on second floor

According to local newspaper China Press, it was reported that a man was stuck in his black sedan after crashing onto a concrete wall headfirst on the second floor. The incident occurred at an indoor car park located at Taman Wangsa Permai but the time and date of the incident has yet to be confirmed.

In a 24-second video circulating online, it was seen that the man wearing a red shirt was found in his black sedan car after the crash, with half of his car dangerously hanging out on the second floor.

The accident left the man to be stuck in the car as he wasn’t able to open his door to escape to safety. Seemingly shocked by the incident, the man was cautious of his every move as he didn’t want his vehicle to tip over and fall from the edge and into the ground. It was alleged that he could have rammed into the wall after confusing the car’s gas pedal for the brake.

The video footage also showed the debris on the ground floor where the motorcycle parking is at after the man had crashed onto the concrete wall, attracting the attention of many residents. At this point in time, investigations into the crash are said to be still ongoing.
