For a M’sian woman, she makes sure her relationship stays afloat by paying her boyfriend RM500 every month.

The M’sian GF took to TikTok to lament her rickety financial situation, as she listed down all her monthly commitments in her post. One caught the netizens’ eyes when she wrote that she had to pay her BF RM500 every month out of fear that he may leave her if she does not.

Then she also had to pay for her car (RM500), house rent (RM200), her BF’s personal loan registered in her name (RM400) and RM 50 for her own mother. These are all paid with her salary of only RM2000!

“Thank goodness my mother understands my situation. Moreover, I had to use the remaining amount for food and dates with my partner.”

The TikTok post was later reshared on Twitter, garnering around 2.3k retweets and 940 quotes.

Netizens react harshly to her sacrifice for her relationship

Upon reading her post, many netizens expressed different reactions to her efforts in maintaining her relationship, and this sparked a debate in the comment section.

While many understand her concerns, the majority believed that her BF is not right for her and she should leave him for good.

“Sis, this is not a partner, this is a freaking money-sucking ‘lizard’.”

One implored her to open her eyes and date smartly.

“This is just a partner. Open up your eyes and look around. Put your brains in front of your feelings and think about this.”

Another asked her to appreciate her family more instead of her significant other.
