Just recently, a woman named Leah has gone viral on Twitter for her act of kindness during Mother’s Day. It appears that every year during Mother’s Day, Leah and her group of friends would gather at the IPC mall located in Damansara and give out flowers to strangers. She emphasised that her annual activity of giving out flowers at the mall has been approved by the management of the mall, making sure that it’s not a hassle to any parties involved.

Speaking to Wau Post, Leah revealed that her act of kindness was in memory of her late mother, whom she lost to cancer. She mentioned that prior to losing her mother, she would always send flowers to her mother’s office but now that her mother has passed on, she has decided to continue the tradition.

“I’m grateful to be able to spread positivity and love while brightening people’s day”, she said.

Following that, Leah shared that every year she would buy flowers from the florist and curate the packaging for the flowers herself. She said that she would get the flowers ready before distributing it to her friends to help her give away around the mall. When asked about how long she’s been doing this, she mentioned that she has been doing this for over a decade.

“It would’ve been our 11th year doing this but due to the pandemic we had to put our plans on hold for 2 years”, she mentioned.

Before ending the interview, Leah shared that she is very grateful for her bunch of friends. She said,

“I’d like to give my friends a shoutout and tell them that I appreciate them for always doing this with me for the past decade”, she said.
