M’sian teen determines to finish the running race even though he was using crutches
In a tear-jerking video posted by Farid Kamaruddin, a racing event was held and while it seemed like a normal event, one of the participants have caught the attention of many. As the children started sprinting, a one-legged teen was seeing going in full speed with the assistance of his crutches.
Despite going as fast as he can, it was apparent that he couldn’t catch up, but he didn’t give up. As he was running, a teacher then decided to cheer him on, giving him full support by running with him on the sidelines. With the support from his teacher, the teen persevered and continued on the race, even though he was tired. With his sheer determination, the teen was able to finish the race by crossing the finish line, while his teacher was seen celebrating his accomplishment.
Following the video, local newspaper Kosmo!, has revealed that the competition was a Special Education Sports Championship held in the Hulu Langat district. Of the ten students that participated in the race, one of the participants actually suffers from visual impairment.
As the video makes its wave on social media, it quickly garnered attention from netizens, with plenty of them leaving their encouraging comment. And here’s what some of them said:
