As students graduate from high school and move on to their tertiary studies, plenty of them would find that their degree courses are offering subjects that they’ve never heard of. Just awhile back, a university student, Nadia, has stumbled upon a rather interesting course in her university.

Course named Nasi Lemak and the food system found by university student humours netizens

Taking her new discovery onto TikTok, Nadia has shared a 11-second video of her scrolling through her course enrolment units. As she was scrolling through her enrolment courses which includes subjects like Healthy planet, healthy life and fundamentals of Islamic politics, she has stumbled upon a subject named Nasi Lemak and the food system.

Speaking to Wau Post, Nadia has shared that the subject provided is actually under a course called SHE (Student Holistic Empowerment). She explained that students who are completing their bachelor’s degree are required to choose 4 subjects from the programme.

When asked if she had picked the subject, Nadia has mentioned that as much as she is curious of what the course entails, she has decided on enrolling in other subjects that are more related to the course she is studying.

“I study International and Strategic studies specialising in anthropology & sociology, so I decided to go with courses that are more relevant to my field of study”, she said. Unfortunately, Nadia was unable to read through the subject outline as she wasn’t enrolled in the subject.

As her video has garnered plenty of traction humouring netizens, here’s what some of them said:
