Just recently, a Malaysian makcik has gone viral for her unconventional method of selling her goods in a pink wheelbarrow!
M’sian makcik sells kuih muih in a pink wheelbarrow
According to a video posted on TikTok, Hanis shared that she had decided to head over to Pulau Tioman for a vacation. Being her first time visiting the island, she was mesmerized by the island life. Stumbling upon a makcik with a pink wheelbarrow, she was surprised to a find her selling kuih!

Speaking to Wau Post, Hanis mentioned that the makcik sells her pastries and teatime snacks in the afternoon.
“The aunty sells her pastries at Kampung Salang Tioman”, she said.
Using a pink wheelbarrow, Hanis shared that the aunty would walk around the area welcoming anyone who wants to buy her pastries. As the makcik makes her rounds, Hanis quickly called out to her, wanting to try her food. Selling light bites like ketayap, Karipap Kentang , Karipap Ikan, cokodok and cucur, she was surprised to find that the kuih was delicious.
