A little over 2 months ago, a Malaysian lawyer named Nas took his grouses on Twitter, revealing that he had a terrible experience at the BlackPink concert. He mentioned that he purchased the tickets through the official website and had selected the row G seat 36 and 37. As he arrived at his designated row, he came to realise that his seat didn’t exist and had no choice but to walk around the corridor during the concert and at one point even resulted to seating on the steps of the corridor.

Following that, he drafted a letter of demand (LOD) to the concert organisers in hopes of resolving the issue he faced and sought for compensation. As expected, the organisers eventually got back to him and discussed upon the matter. However, in a TikTok video posted by Nas, he revealed that after much discussion with the organisers they weren’t able to come into an agreement.

“We’ve discussed about it and there were terms I didn’t agree with them and vice-versa”, he said.

He then mentioned that as both parties couldn’t come to terms, he has decided to file a lawsuit against the concert organiser. Nas revealed that the lawsuit would enable him to seek compensation from the range of RM100k to RM1million, but the final amount will be decided by the court.

Following that, Nas explained that the reason he is doing this is because he wants the organisers to understand that they should be responsible for their actions and treat consumers right. He further elaborated that he has seen plenty of concertgoers expressing their dissatisfaction or horrible encounters and hopes that this could be served as a lesson to the concert organisers.

“To them, RM500 may not be much, but for us it’s quite a large sum”, he said,

He then ended the video emphasising that he will not be sharing further details of the court case as a sign of respect to the court procedures, but will update the final decision once it has been made.
