Upon investigating, police have found out that the house was rented out to 2 foreigners for 2 years, from between August 2019 and October 2021. As he was about to rent the house out to other tenants, the owner realised that a section of the bathroom had been covered with cement.

Out of curiosity, he contacted his previous tenants about the matter, and they explained saying that water dripping from rotting dead rats in the wall was leaking into the water reservoir. Without suspecting anything, the man continued to rent his out to other tenants.

As the situation unfolds, just last month as he asked a foreign worker over to fix his roof, he was told that a body was hidden in the cement. However, as the foreign worker had return to his hometown, the owner then decided to report to local authorities for verification of information.

Other than that, local authorities have also begun a manhunt for 2 foreign workers, Ranjit Singh and Mandeep Singh, who were the previous tenants for the house.

“The body that we’ve retrieved has been sent to a hospital in Shah Alam for postmortem and the case is currently being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code”, he said.
