Speaking to Wau Post, Suhaida mentioned that she has been operating her stall, Kedai Nasi Ayam RM3 Kuala Besut for over 20 years. And for the past 2 decades, she has tried her best to keep the prices at RM1.90 per pack of chicken. Unfortunately, as the cost-of -living rises over the years, she had no choice but to increase the prices of her chicken rice from RM1.90 to RM3.

“We are forced to increase the prices to earn a living”, she said.

In order to sustain and keep their business afloat, they had to increase the prices.  Then, she revealed in her video saying that there are days where they feel discouraged, emphasising on the quality and quantity of their chicken rice. They try their best to ensure those who purchase their meal gets their pennies worth.

Suhaida was seen packing chicken rice for her customers. For a mere RM3, they are offered a pack of soup, rice and chicken. Despite facing backlash from some of her customers, she remains grateful that there are still customers supporting her small venture. Then, Suhaida ended her video, urging for the locals to head over to her stall and try her chicken rice.

RM3 for a pack of chicken rice is truly a steal and we hope her business can continue to sustain for all the years to come!
