The sacred month of Ramadan is upon us, with its commencement next week leading up to the Hari Raya Celebration in April 2024. To ignite the spirit of Ramadan and Raya, Maria’s SteakCafe has curated seasonal offerings blending traditional and modern dishes. The menu will be available from 10th March 2024 to 7th May 2024, to celebrate the warmth and joy of the festive occasion.

The communal concept menu showcases a 3-tier spread of wholesome food, symbolising abundance and togetherness. Each tier features round trays brimming with food, topped with Maria’s signature appetiser, followed by the main course and delectable sides. It’s a perfect setting for sharing with family and friends during iftar or a reunion feast.

This seasonal menu is available in beef and non-beef options, with portions suitable for 2 or 4 people, catering to both intimate or large gatherings with diverse preferences. Following tradition, the meal begins with dates and Maria’s SteakCafe’s special Rose & Lychee mocktail to ease daytime fasting before indulging in the feast.

Whether you opt for the beef or non-beef set, it begins with flavourful Spicy Mussels in a tomato-based sauce, served with crunchy garlic bread. Moving on to the second tier, you’ll enjoy the main course of your choice. These dishes blend Western cuisine with a traditional Ramadan twist, each paired with aromatic Air Asam and Percik Sauce for a fusion of flavours.

For the set serving four, two tempting main meat courses are presented, including the signature Argentinian Striploin and N.Z Lamb Cutlets in the beef set. For those seeking premium cuts, you may upgrade your steaks to Black Angus Ribeye, Wagyu MB7 Tenderloin, or Wagyu MB9 Ribeye. If beef isn’t your preference, the non-beef set offers Grilled Salmon and N.Z Lamb Cutlets, with an option to upgrade the Grilled Salmon to their delicious Atlantic White Cod. For intimate dining for two, both sets (beef and non-beef) comes with Grilled Salmon or Argentinian Striploin options as main, ensuring a tailored dining experience for party of all sizes.

To ensure a perfect balance of flavours, the third tier is filled with selected side dishes: Portobello Mushroom for a rich earthy flavour, Roasted Potatoes, Sautéed Vegetables, and crunchy Steak Fries. This combination remains a favourite in Western cuisine, complementing both the beef and non-beef selections. These side dishes add an extra dimension to every serving, ensuring a memorable and satisfying meal for all palates.
