According to a video posted onto TikTok by Fara, a particular lion dance performance has caught the attention of many! This is because other than the usual routine, the performers have decided to incorporate traditional dance elements into their performance. Switching the rhythm, the performers were seen attempting the bamboo dance, also known as the Magunatip.

In the performance, the performers were seen weaving in and out of the of the bamboo poles in a coordinated manner, displaying extraordinary agility and precision! Speaking to Wau Post, Fara shared that she was really proud to have experience the performance.
“I’m so happy that I’m able to share this online”, she said.

Emphasizing on the incorporation of traditional dance elements, Fara mentioned that the performance is a perfect example of how Malaysians are able to live together harmoniously, regardless of our race.
