Wedding proposal videos are usually sweet and touching to watch as it shows how much love the couple has for each other. Other than that, it also showcases that the couple is now ready to move on to a new phase of their lives together.

Just recently, a couple Pat and Giulia better known as Veggiesontour, has shared their wedding proposal but what was supposed to be a touching video came with a twist! Speaking to Wau Post, Pat shared that their first trip to Malaysia was actually back in 2019, however as the pandemic hit back in 2020, they were forced to stay in Malaysia for half a year.

“Ever since then, we started coming back every year, it feels like home away from home”, he said.

Fast forward to May 2023, Pat has decided to propose to Giulia and figured that the best place to do it is in Malaysia. Planning the proposals months ago, Pat shared that he had booked a hotel that has a bridge that showcases an amazing view of the Skyline. Unfortunately, the night he was going to propose, it was raining heavily.

“Finally, after an amazing dinner, we headed to a bar and I waited anxiously for the rain to stop”, he mentioned.

Thankfully, the rain stopped, and he was able to bring her out for a short walk to KLCC where he wanted to propose. He shared that the walk was a little long and Giulia was getting a little impatient because the water puddles were splashing against her heels. Despite Giulia’s annoyance, he was adamant on heading to KLCC for the beautiful view.

As they arrived, a few street photographers were present and asked if he wanted their photo taken to which he replied eagerly saying yes. Subsequently, more photographers came over and one of them asked if they were married. Taken aback by his question, he looked at the man and sheepishly said no.

Unconvinced with his answer, the man asked if they were engaged, and he turned to the man slowly and said not yet. Immediately, the man understood what he meant and asked if he’d like to have a video taken, to which he said yes. As he got onto one knee, the man was too excited and started cheering them on.

As Giulia accepted his proposal, the man then cheekily asked for them to kiss and the crowd around them started cheering. As they watched the video, they couldn’t help but find it funny as the man’s commentary throughout the video was hilarious. While the video didn’t go as planned, they both unanimously agreed that the version they have is definitely better than expected.
