Living in these times can be tough, especially for those who have no one to lean on. Imagine one day, you’re going about your business as usual, and the next, you find yourself jobless and homeless.
M’sian man loses both his job and home, fellow M’sian buys him a meal
Well, that’s exactly what happened to this unfortunate man, who TikTok user Abdul Haris Harahap encountered in a mall food court. According to Abdul Haris, a man had approached him as he was paying. The man explained that he had recently lost his job and was hoping that Abdul Haris could spare him some food or even a meal.
Initially, Haris assumed that the man wanted money, as he could see that the man was able-bodied. He gently turned him down, before remembering that the man hadn’t even asked for a single cent.
Realizing that the man was truly in need, Abdul Haris rushed after him, only to find the man at one of the tables, trying to resist his hunger. Eager to help, he offered to buy the man some food.
In the video, the man can be seen recounting his tale to Haris while the two are waiting at the counter. He reveals that he was sacked by his boss, who had refused to pay him his salary. Left with zero income, he could no longer afford his rent and was forced to move out.
The man even stated that he had considered turning to loan sharks, to which Abdul Haris advised him against it, encouraging him not to give up. He then ended the video by expressing his hopes for the man to get another job soon and out of his current predicament.
Kudos to you Abdul, for supporting a fellow person in need! We certainly hope that this man gets the help he could use.
