In a recent display of kindness in humanity, a Malaysian mother has made headlines for being preparing an extra lunch box for her child’s friend upon finding out that the child’s parents have passed away.
Kind M’sian mother prepares an extra lunch box for her child’s friend
Speaking to Wau Post, Siti Hawa Mohd Zainudin shared that her kid has just gotten close to a classmate in agama school this year. As she learns about her child’s new friend, she was saddened to find out that her kid’s new friend is an orphan.
“He is only 11, it’s definitely sad to see one lose their parents at such a young age”, she said.

Out of sympathy and the kindness of her heart, Siti decided to make an extra lunch box for her kid and his friend. Other than that, she would also provide her son with extra allowance, in case his friend needs some help. Through her actions, Siti shared that she’s able to spread some kindness and warmth towards the child.
“I also want to teach my son to always be grateful”, she said.
Touched to see he enjoyed the lunch box
Following her story, Siti shared she had the opportunity to send her son’s friend home and when her son’s friend headed home, he had returned the lunch box. As she opened the lunch box, she was delighted to find out that the food she prepared was finished.
“He even told my son that my cooking was delicious”, adding that the comment made her tear up.
However, Siti was transparent with her financial state, saying that she isn’t wealthy but is thankful for being able to provide assistance to her child’s friend when needed. Siti mentioned that the reason she posted about the incident wasn’t because she wanted to brag, but to spread kindness in hopes that others would also lend a helping a hand if they’re able to.

“Today, it could be someone’s child, tomorrow it could be my child”, she said, hoping that the same kind of warmth could be extended to her child if anything were to happen to her.
