“She said that they were supposed to be on their way to Penang,” Nasree elaborated. “However, they were unable to contact the driver who had promised to send them. They also tried booking e-hailing rides but were unsuccessful.” The family asked Nasree if he could drive them instead as they were really desperate.

Without hesitation, he agreed to help them out. “I called my family in advance to inform them of where I was going.” But the journey was not without its obstacles. Nasree explained that the car suddenly broke down in Gerik, Perak.

Despite the circumstances, Nasree said that the family did not complain, and even assisted in pushing the car. After a two-hour wait, they were back on the road again once Nasree’s father arrived with a replacement car. Soon enough, the convoy reached their destination.
