It is heartwarming to come across kind acts that can put a smile to someone’s face, and in this case, that someone belongs to 4-year-old boy Fatrul.
According to a Facebook post by JPJ Terengganu, one of its offices has welcomed a little fighter into their squad on 19 January. Adik Fatrul was brought to the office in Air Sejuk as a birthday treat which fell on the exact day.
A birthday surprise for little Fatrul who is into uniform bodies, such as JPJ
The toddler is diagnosed with leukemia and stage four nerve cancer. The post stated that he is a fan of uniform bodies such as PDRM and JPJ. To make his day, the uniform personnel of JPJ gave Fatrul an opportunity to visit and dress up as a tiny officer, complete with badges of his own to boot!
The friendly staff were very happy to greet and entertain the little boy, and let him live out his dream of working as an uniformed officer. They gave him a tour around the station, and let him experience life as an actual JPJ officer. This is in addition to the opportunity to patrol around the Air Sejuk vicinity while on-board a JPJ enforcement car in uniform!
Fatrul also met the Police Chief of the Setiu District, YDH DSP Afandi bin Hussin during his visit.
Surprise visit to JPJ’s office put a smile on 4-year-old little warrior’s face
That day has not only brought a smile to Fatrul’s face, but also to everyone else at the station. His happiness reflected the kind hospitality provided to him by these JPJ personnel. The tour has made the cancer warrior’s day, and hopefully motivated him to be brave in the face of adversity.
JPJ Terengganu wishes that Adik Fatrul continues to be strong in his fight against cancer. And we too, hope that one day he will be able to emerge triumphant in his battle against the disease, and see his dream of becoming a uniformed officer turn into reality.
