When eating at a restaurant, it’s normal for us to check the price so we can estimate the total bill of the meal. However, for this family it seems like they’ve decided to make their own rules and only pay RM400 for the meal the RM1.1k bill that they’ve racked up at a seafood restaurant.

Just recently, a seafood restaurant located in Sabah has taken their frustration onto their social media to expose a particular family who dined in their premise. In the post, the restaurant revealed that the family came to the restaurant an ordered a feast which includes an array of seafood like crabs, squids. steamed lobster and fish.

In addition to that, they also ordered three bowls of rice as well as assorted drinks like watermelon juice, coconut water, soft drinks and milk tea. Looking at the bill, the steamed lobster cost Rm480, while the crabs, fish and squid costs RM150, RM224 and RM28 respectively. Along with a 10% service charge, the total bill then came up to RM1,102.20.

As they found out that the bill was RM1.1k, the family refused to pay as it was too expensive and said that they’re only willing to pay RM400. After paying, they left immediately, leaving the cashier stunned.

In a separate post, the said seafood restaurant has shared that a police report has been made and representatives from the KPDN and there is nothing suspicious about the restaurant. Following that, they also urged the family to head back to the restaurant and settle the matter promptly.

We hope the matter can be resolved as soon as possible.
