It’s official, British boyband Coldplay is coming to Malaysia on 22 November for the first time ever!

Known for massive hit songs like Yellow, Something Just Like This and The Scientist, Coldplay will be making their way to Malaysia for the first time ever on November 22, 2023! The British boy band’s return to Asia and Australia has been highly anticipated and this time round, Malaysian fans are in a for a treat as they take the stage at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium.

The Music Of The Spheres World Tour is in support of the band’s ninth album of the same name, which featured the hit single My Universe, a collaboration with South Korean boy band BTS.

Since the start of their tour back in March 2022, the band has successfully sold more than 4 million tickets, receiving plenty of good reviews from concert attendees! In a poster released by Coldplay on Twitter, it was revealed that the British boy band will be having their first stop in Tokyo on November 6 and 7.

Following that, the band will then be heading to Kaoshiung Taiwan and Jakarta on November 11 and 15, before heading to Perth on November 18 for their first western Australian performance since 2009. The announcement has brought many Malaysians joy and Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has also extended his welcome on his Twitter and retweeting the boy band’s announcement.
