An illicit rendezvous between an Indonesian man and a woman quickly turned bloody after the woman reportedly cut off the man’s penis when he threatened to leak their sex video. As reported by Indonesian news agency Detik, the incident took place at a hotel room in the coastal city of Sibolga, located in the North Sumatra province.
Indonesian woman cuts off boyfriend’s penis
Sibolga police chief AKBP Taryono Raharja said that the victim, a 28-year-old man identified only as OG, had checked into the hotel room with the 28-year-old female assailant, identified as AST. Both were in fact married to other people, and had been secretly seeing one another without the knowledge of their respective spouses.
They initially decided to meet up at Padangsidimpuan, before departing for Sibolga together. The affair had been going on for seven months.
“They are not husband and wife. Both of them are engaged in an extramarital affair. They are each legally married to different people,” Raharja said.
Threatened to leak their sex video
Upon checking into the hotel room, OG had attempted to coerce AST into sexual intercourse after showering, but she repeatedly turned him down over something he had said earlier. Frustrated by her refusal to engage in sexual intercourse, OG proceeded to threaten AST by claiming that he would leak a video of them having sex together that was recorded from before if she refused to cooperate.
Angered by OG’s threat, AST reached for OG’s knife and in a shocking moment of fury, cut off his penis. Apparently, OG would often carry the knife around with him as a means to protect himself when needed.
The hotel’s receptionist, Evi Wahyuni Siregar, said that AST approached her for medical help for OG, who was bleeding profusely as a result of the severe wound he sustained. A call was made to both the police and emergency services, who rushed to the scene.
AST was promptly detained, while OG was rushed to a hospital in Sibolga, where he is currently under Intensive Care and in critical condition. AST potentially faces up to five years in prison if convicted for her offense.
