Prior to starting her business online, Nur Rafidah worked as a school canteen assistant. Attending a digital business workshop, in hopes of increasing her income, she learned many useful skills to help her kickstart her online business journey.

Recalling the workshop by a special education teacher, she was able to learn how to record and edit videos, as well as leveraging on tools like a tripod, microphone and a ring light. While there were doubts, the woman shared that as soon as she saw the commissions she was receiving, she knew she had to keep going.

“As a side commission, I also do affiliate marketing which involves food and skincare products”, she mentioned.

Not knowing what to expect, it was safe to say that the woman was shocked to find out that she was able to generate more income than her previous job. Selling over 9,000 units of her own herbal oil, herbs and honey, Nur Rafidah has become one of the 43 Orang Asli group who benefited from the digital workshop.

This is living proof that hard work and dedication will lead you to success. We’re happy to see that Rafidah is making a decent living with the resources she has, and we hope her business can continue to grow and mature!
