“I’ve always had the habit of doodling on serviettes or receipts and one day, an idea popped into my head”, she said.

As her way of showing appreciation to the service workers in restaurants, she decided to draw cheeky thank you notes for the workers. She highlighted that she understood how underappreciated they are and instead of only relying on saying “thank you”, she wanted to put in some effort and draw them something.

“I’ve been doing this for two months and I love seeing their reactions”, she mentioned, adding that the workers would usually smile at the serviettes or pick it up and run towards their other colleagues, sharing the joy.

Looking at her drawings, Christelle shares that intends to continue drawing cheeky illustration notes for service workers in hopes that it lightens up their day.
