“My eyes are getting blurry, and I no longer have that burst of energy I used to have when I was younger.”

Since 2019, Ujang has moved quite a bit, from Batang Kali to Johor, then to Shah Alam before settling at his current place in Bandar Baru Ampang. “I called out to him, and he asked if I needed any help. I then humbly asked if he could help me post about my business on social media and to my surprise, he agreed”, said Ujang.

As Jimmy’s post went viral online, Ujang has been receiving more customers and for that, he is very grateful for the support shown. Sharing his struggles, Ujang shared that the lack of customers back then has caused him to have an empty pocket for weeks. However, with the current customers he gets, Ujang is able to pay for his rent, as well as put food on the table.

“Back then I couldn’t even earn RM10 a day. I don’t ask for much, I just hope I earn enough to cover my rent and other bills”, he mentioned, adding that he pays RM380 a month for rent.
