Just yesterday, Malaysians were distraught to find out that an aircraft had crashed at a town in Shah Alam, causing 10 individuals to lose their lives. Other than the 8 individuals who were on the aircraft, the crash had impacted 2 other road users who were at the area, with one of them being a e-hailing driver and the other as a delivery rider.
E-hailing driver who passed away due to the plane crash passed his picture to his children two weeks ago
As the situation continues to unfold, the e-hailing driver, Allahyarham Sharipuddin Shaari’s family have shared their heartbreaking stance on the matter. According to Allahyarham Sharipuddin Shaari’s 16-year-old son, he shared that his father had given him and his younger sister a picture two weeks before the incident.
Recalling back on the day, Muhammad Sharul Izuan revealed that when his father had passed him and his younger sister, Nur Izzara Arissya, the picture their mother Suriana Muda was also present, and they were all in the car.
“I didn’t expect that his request for us to keep his picture was a ‘sign’ that he would be gone forever”, he said.
On the day of his father’s passing, Muhammad Sharul Izuan was getting ready for school while his father was checking his car engines to ensure that everything was alright. He revealed that they didn’t speak during that time as he rode his motorcycle to school.
“The night before he passed, he asked me to have a meal with and wanted to chat because he realised that we don’t really communicate other than important matters”, he mentioned.
He also revealed that the last time his dad spoke to his mom was at 2:15pm. He informed her via text that he was at a restaurant in Elmina and was about to pick up a passenger and then head home early. When the police showed up at their doorstep, they were all shocked to find out that he has passed away.
“It’s shocking to us that he had passed on so suddenly, but whatever it is, we leave it to Allah”, he said.
Our condolences to the families affected and may they rest in peace.
